Written by narcissists often use sex to get attention, validation, and admiration, which they call “narcissistic supply”. They may:
Be great in bed: Narcissists may take pride in their sexual performance and expect constant praise.
Be selfish in bed: Narcissists may make their partners work to please them.
See sex as transactional: Narcissists may lack empathy and have less qualms about casual sex.
Control others: Narcissists may derive pleasure from giving or withdrawing sex or affection.
Have little interest in intimacy: Narcissists may have little or no interest in building intimacy after sexual gratification.
Other signs of a narcissist include:
Not apologizing or admitting fault
Not looking you in the eye
Being generous only to get what they want
If you’re in a relationship with a narcissist, you can practice self-care to combat the effects of feeling uncared for. Self-care activities include journaling, exercising, and doing pleasant activities.
Narcissists only care about what you provide for them.
They may love your company, and want to be around you. And don’ t want to lose you. They care about things THEY lose if you leave. Like your attention , money, housework, favours etc. But it does not mean they really love you.
Narcissists care too much about themselves and their own needs, to ever truly care about yours and your any efforts can’t change this reality !
