Someone was drawn in a new direction, and unfortunately that took them away from the relationship. The Judgement card doesn’t necessarily denote physical cheating but rather changing and being pulled away from what we think of as comfortable and familiar. Perhaps a true calling that didn’t include being in this relationship was recognized and brought to fruition.
The worst thing you can do is hang on. Even if you instigated the breakup, there is part of you that may think it was a mistake. The Death card warns of stagnation and obsessing over things we can’t or shouldn’t change, so don’t succumb to the temptation of going with what’s familiar instead of what you know in your heart to be right. Allow yourself to experience the freedom that comes with accepting final endings.
